Bill Reid, webmaster for the Ken Griffin Society Web pages plays Ken Griffin's
model AV Hammond. The NSHOS' X66 is in the background. Below,
Yamaha MIDI keyboard along with mixer, digital signal processors and power
amplifier, some of the equipment we brought in for this special event.
Setting everything up and making it all work together was, to say the
least, a real challenge! |

Below,

Potts discussing some of Ken Griffin's recordings as the audience begins
to enter and seat themselves at the va-rious tables that were set up for the
event.

Right.
The hall begins to fill up as the audience gather at either the round tables
or the more centrally located straight tables. It is really interesting to
note that although it is now 51 years since Ken Griffin's untimely death,
he is still packing them in to hear music played exactly as he played it and
on the same instrument. In the world of pops organ music, the "Griffin
Sound" is still very popular. |
